$75 Grocery Budget Meal Plan
It’s been too long!
The past few months have been filled with selling our house, decluttering, packing, finding a new house, moving, unpacking and renovating, so I’ve had no extra time for posting our meal plans.
But life is feeling a little more normal now, so I’m posting one for you this week.
Why I Post the $75 Budget Meal Plan
There are lots of meal plans available on the interwebs, but I post mine in order to:
- Keep myself accountable for my grocery spending.
- Ensure that I actually make a meal plan.
- Encourage you to make some kind of meal plan to reduce your stress and your grocery spending.
- Give you permission to serve super simple meals.
- Provide some meal ideas.
I’m sharing what we’re actually eating this week which includes a combination of both pantry items and fresh foods, so hopefully you’ll find something you can add to your meal plan.
THE SECRET TO THE $75 GROCERY BUDGET
The main way I stick to the budget is by using what we have on hand to create my meal plan, then purchasing lower priced and sale items in multiples so I have a constant stockpile to work from. Each week I’m purchasing some items for the current week, and some items for upcoming weeks.
