$75 Grocery Budget Meal Plan
It’s time for my weekly meal plan that I post to:
- Keep myself accountable for my grocery spending;
- Ensure that I actually make a meal plan;
- Encourage you to make some kind of meal plan to reduce your stress and your budget;
- Give you permission to serve super simple meals;
- Provide some meal ideas.
I’m sharing what we’re actually eating this week which includes a combination of both pantry items and fresh foods, so hopefully you’ll find something you can add to your meal plan.
THE SECRET TO THE $75 GROCERY BUDGET
The main way I stick to the budget is by using what we have on hand to create my meal plan, then purchasing lower priced and sale items in multiples so I have a constant stockpile to work from. Each week I’m purchasing some items for the current week, and some items for upcoming weeks.
Recently, because life has been super busy, I paid for a Walmart Plus Subscription and started using Walmart Delivery. That means that I’m not purchasing sale items from other stores but using items already in my freezer, fridge and pantry to supplement each week. Eventually I will have to restock.
