$75 Grocery Budget Meal Plan
It’s been a busy and challenging season for us (and continues to be as it has for many of you), and to be honest, these posts take time to create — time that I don’t have to give some weeks.
So even though I probably won’t be posting a meal plan every week, I will post when I can because I know they are helpful to you.
I post them here in order to:
- Keep myself accountable for my grocery spending.
- Ensure that I actually make a meal plan.
- Encourage you to make some kind of meal plan to reduce your stress and your budget.
- Give you permission to serve super simple meals.
- Provide some meal ideas.
I’m sharing what we’re actually eating this week which includes a combination of both pantry items and fresh foods, so hopefully you’ll find something you can add to your meal plan.
THE SECRET TO THE $75 GROCERY BUDGET
The main way I stick to the budget is by using what we have on hand to create my meal plan, then purchasing lower priced and sale items in multiples so I have a constant stockpile to work from. Each week I’m purchasing some items for the current week, and some items for upcoming weeks.

I bought some convenience foods including frozen breakfast items for my husband, and some snack foods for our Super Bowl festivities.
We were also given a 5lb bag of apples.
