$75 Grocery Budget Meal Plan
It’s time for my weekly meal plan which I’m posting to:
- Keep myself accountable for my grocery spending;
- Ensure that I actually make a meal plan;
- Encourage you to make some kind of meal plan to reduce your stress and your budget;
- Give you permission to serve super simple meals;
- Provide some meal ideas.
I’m sharing what we’re actually eating this week which includes a combination of both pantry items and fresh foods, so hopefully you’ll find something you can add to your meal plan.
THE SECRET TO THE $75 GROCERY BUDGET
The main way I stick to the budget is by using what we have on hand to create my meal plan, then purchasing lower priced and sale items in multiples so I have a constant stockpile to work from. Each week I’m purchasing some items for the current week, and some items for upcoming weeks.

THIS WEEK’S $75 GROCERY BUDGET SHOPPING TRIP
Last week I shopped, but didn’t have time to post my meal plan due to some unexpected family circumstances.
The ground beef and carne picada went into the freezer for later. I also purchased two bags of Jasmine rice, some cereal, chips and salsa for later weeks.
I spent $83.32, so over-budget.
Here’s the receipt from this week.
And here’s what I purchased.
Weekly Total: $73.00
November Monthly Total: $273.34
