$60 Grocery Budget Meal Plan
I recently started posting my grocery shopping trips and meal plans for the week again.
We’re currently trying to save money on regular expenses so we can pay off some unexpected medical bills, so our weekly budget is $60 to feed three adults. (My oldest three children have moved out on their own.)
Here’s what I purchased this week.
Sorry that I don’t have a more detailed photo, but I had emergency dental work before I bought groceries and I was wiped out when I arrived home.
I also don’t have a photo of the receipt, but my total was $122.33. I went over budget because someone gave my husband a $50 gift and to be honest, we were tired of eating beans and rice so often!
I found the frozen wild-caught Alaskan salmon on clearance so I purchased a couple of bags as well as LOTS of produce and some pantry items.
Weekly Total: $122.33
September Monthly Total: $238.62 (under budget – yay!)
