This week’s shopping is a prime example of what happens when you are in a hurry and fail to plan — and now you know for sure that I am human. 🙂
I had a busy week along with some unexpected requirements on my time so my grocery shopping consisted of a quick trip to Publix to grab “necessities” (which ended up costing $64!), and a trip to Walmart the next day because I needed non-food items and I didn’t have time to go to two stores.
The combination of Walmart prices in my area being higher than Aldi, my not making a complete menu or grocery list before going into the store, and needing to stock up on some pantry items resulted in me TOTALLY blowing the budget this week — and I didn’t have time to take a photo either.
I do feel motivated to do better next week, though.
