I took a break from posting the weekly menus over the holidays but I did create a menu each week and even though we had company for the holidays I only went over the monthly budget for December by $150 so I was happy.
This week I shopped only at Aldi.
Aldi Produce
Aldi Dairy, Frozen and Meat
(not pictured: 1 dozen eggs)
Aldi Grocery Items
Weekly Total: $110.45
January Monthly Total: $110.45
($100/week budget so I am over budget this week.)

I completely understand Marge. Unfortunately I don’t have the time to create a complete grocery list for the weekly meal plans and my list would vary because I have different items on hand. I do have some meal plans with grocery lists available, though. Click here: https://thepeacefulmom.com/category/freezer-cooking/
eMeals also has very affordable meal plans with a grocery list and recipes included. You can click the link in the post to read more. 🙂
I actually stopped buying pork there as well Misty. I think the quality varies from product to product and store to store. The Aldi where we lived before had terrible produce but our current store has great produce. Unfortunately you have to discover what is best through trial and error.
