This week we are eating cheap meals to save money for Christmas dinner. I will buy a ham early next week and you can see our menu below.
Aldi Produce, Dairy and Meat
Yes, I purchased pre-made burger patties. It’s just so much easier and I made room for the extra expense by purchasing cheaper foods for other meals this week.
Aldi Pantry Items
Aldi had the 17 ounce bags of ribbon noodles for just 69 cents so I purchased an extra bag for the pantry. I also purchased extra English muffins to stick in the freezer.
Weekly Total: $86.13
($100/week budget so I am UNDER budget this week — woohoo!)
December Monthly Total: $277.93

How much are blueberries in your area? I think here in Ohio they’re like $2-$2.50 for a pint at Aldi? It’s crazy! I really hate paying out-of-season prices for produce but my daughter loves them, so I may give in before spring hits. =)
They were $2.50 but I splurged on two packages because my mom is visiting. ?
