Thanks so much for your menus each week! They are a blessing ☺how do you make your cheesy biscuits ?
My pleasure Jennifer! My biscuit recipe is a basic drop biscuit recipe:
2 c all purpose flour
1 tbs baking powder
3 tsp sugar
just under 1/2 tsp salt*
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup softened butter
1 cup milk
*you can substitute 1/4 tsp garlic salt and just under 1/4 tsp sea salt
In a large bowl mix dry ingredients well. Add shredded cheese and stir to combine well. Cut in butter with a fork or pastry fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Make a well in the center and add milk all at once. Stir just until dough clings together. Drop 1-2 tablespoons of dough for each biscuit onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden. Makes 10 – 12.
Hope you like them! 🙂
Thanks so much!!
My pleasure Jennifer!
