Another busy week as we start the serious packing for our move in a couple of weeks. I shopped at Aldi for most of our groceries and picked up some organic lunch meat and yogurt at Publix.
There were not a lot of good sale prices in our area so I stuck with some inexpensive basics for our meals.
Weekly Total: $128.40
August Monthly Total: $276.13
($125/week budget for six people so I am slightly over budget this week.)

Homemade Freezer Waffles with DIY Waffle Syrup*
Veggie Breakfast Scramble, orange slices
Organic Yogurt with Crockpot Granola* and fresh strawberries
Oatmeal* with cinnamon* and raisins*
English Muffin with sausage patty and fried egg
Cinnamon Raisin Toast* with peanut butter* and banana slices
Cereal with milk
LUNCH
Homemade Pizza Bagels
Hummus, tortilla chips, bell pepper strips
PBJ, pretzel rods
Turkey Sandwich, cucumber slices x2
Cheese Nachos, cherry tomatoes, avocado slices
DINNER
BBQ Pepper Jack Bacon Burgers (w/ bacon from Zaycon Foods)*, Home Fried Potatoes, Tomato Cucumber Salad
Taco Cups, Black Bean and Corn Salsa
Chocolate Chip Pancakes, scrambled eggs
Hot Dogs, baked beans, watermelon slices
Shell Noodles, Crock Pot Pasta Sauce* (Italian sausage from freezer), roasted asparagus (brush with olive oil, sprinkle with sea salt, bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes until tender)
Sweet & Spicy Slow Cooker Chinese Chicken, rice, stir fried vegetables
Easy Potato Soup, cheesy biscuits
