I have read your posts for around 6 months. My most challenging area is trying to keep everyone from bickering (more patience for me). I would most like to have more energy! X x
Thanks for commenting Wendy. It is so tough to be a pastor’s wife. I talk to many of them and they all feel pulled in so many directions. I think it is important to talk to your husband about what boundaries you can set so that you can gain some balance and peace in your life. You cannot be on call 24/7. I pray that you will have wisdom in making these decisions. 🙂
I have been following your blog for a year now and I enjoy reading all of your entries. Your advice on how to handle life’s issues and problems are very helpful. One area where I feel challenged is disciplining my children. I have a four year old daughter and she is very outspoken and stubborn. I also have a two year old little boy that is very stubborn and can get very angry when he doesn’t get his way. I try to find ways to discipline them so that they can remember that they should be good or else but for some reason they still try my patience. I know that they are still young and they are learning but I could use a little mommy vacation sometimes.
Girl, any mom of a 2 year old and a 4 year old can use a mommy vacation. Hang in there!
Ivr been following Peaceful Mom for awhile now. Meal planning has been my hardest problem, seems my day changes all the time so its hard to plan. I love this page its been so helpful in my life. Thank you
I’ve been following The Peaceful Mom for about a month now. The area I feel most challenged in is too much to do and not enough time to do it and relax. What would help me most is having my family share more in the daily chores and meal prep.
I’ve been following this blog for a few years now and find such valuable information in it! And I struggle with lots of things, but I think I would say procrastinating is my biggest struggle. I can not seem to muster the self-discipline to get things done well ahead of time.
I started reading your blog sometime in 2014. I appreciate the helpful advice you offer.
My biggest struggle as a mom is making it all work as a single parent. I have no family or friends near me to use as back up. I want to get ahead of the game so I can better handle the big obstacles that come my way.
I’ve been following for a bit less than a year. I struggle with keeping things going and finding time to do projects along the way. I have a couple of projects I’d like to do, but I keep thinking, when?!
I’ve been following for well over a year now. My biggest challenge as a mother right now is learning how to parent young adults and learning how to let go – SO hard!
I have been following for a little over a year. My biggest challenge is organization and spending time in devotions and prayer with the hubs!
I’ve been following this blog for about a year already. My biggest challenge as a woman was staying consistent in doing my house chores and wishing I could accomplish more both in my personal and professional life. As a mom, I seem to struggle with spending quality time with my children.
Hello, I have been following about a year now! I love your blog I am very OCD and you have a lot of helpful resources. My biggest challenge is being a great fun mom. I work full time and my OCD really effects how much I play with my daughter and I am not really cooking.
I’m not sure how long I have been following you, but it’s only been a few months. Honestly, my biggest challenge as a mom is finding time for myself without feeling guilty.
I’ve been following this blog for about a year. My biggest challenge is staying focused on what needs to be done when my calendar is full…and spending time with each of my kids in special ways.
I have been following this blog for close to 2 yrs. My biggest challenge is working from home and balancing time spent on work and time spent with my kids.
I have been following Peaceful Mom blog/e-mails since this spring. My biggest challenge is meal planning and budgeting shopping
I have been following for 3-4 years I think…….I know its been awhile 🙂 My biggest challenge would be keeping everything organized. Thanks these look fun even though I have a couple I can pass extra to a friend 🙂
I’ve been following you on Facebook (Carolsue Anderson) for awhile, but I don’t remember exactly how long. Maybe a year? My biggest challenge is finding something everyone will eat that is easy to make!
I am so glad to hear that you have been inspired Irina! 🙂
I have been following for 3 years I think. Keeping on top of the clutter is something that I struggle with. This blog has been an encouragement to me with tips on decluttering
I just started following The Peaceful Mom and I am addicted! What a great blog! Thank you! I struggle with speaking up with things. Sometimes its at home, other times its saying no to a friend.
I have been following the Peaceful Mom for about 6 months. I have enjoyed many of your posts. Thank you for making the time to encourage others. I have a daughter who really struggles with learning. As she is in her teen years it seems to be getting more difficult for her. What would help? A great education therapist in our area that we could afford. Praying for wisdom!
I think I have been following for close to 2 years! I love your site! I struggle to maintain any plan I make for more that a few days. I either get sick, have something happen (family emergency) or find something I think will be better. I want to fix everything and so therefore nothing gets fixed.
It is hard to enjoy all the little moments when life is super busy but just being aware that you need to slow down sometimes and seize the moment can help. I am glad you are here Kristie!
I know — It’s ridiculous, isn’t it? The last two houses we were in our landlords sold the houses so we had to move. We are hoping that this upcoming move will be the last one for a long time. Thanks for sticking around. 🙂
And just to clarify I wasn’t being a smart aleck, I just couldn’t remember years. I’ve lived in the same house for all of my life (36 years), first with my grandma and grandpa, then gma and gpa and then husband and then hubby and daughter! I hope I never have to move but reading your blog has helped ease my anxiety over the thought of it. If it ever happens the 1st thing I’ll do is come here looking up all the tips I can find. Can you even imagine how much stuff has accumulated in a 950sq ft home with a garage and 2 sheds, since it was purchased in the early 70s!
Thanks for clarifying Kristy but I did not read your comment as being offensive in any way. Sometimes I wish that we had been those stable people who lived in the same place for 50 years but life just hasn’t worked out that way.
I can imagine that moving from your house after so many years would be daunting. Hopefully you won’t have to. 🙂
I have been following the peaceful mom for over a year. I have a hard time staying on task and organized.
I have been following the Peaceful Mom for at least three years.
I need help with setting boundaries and it starts with a firmer understanding of my various goals as a mom, wife, homemaker and woman.
As much as I have learned, it seems like I have been reading your blog forever. I really like your shopping, menu, and great pictures, but most I appreciate your peace.
My biggest challenges are constantly putting things away, shoes by front door, dirty laundry beside the hamper and not in it.
Thanks for the giveaway.
I signed up when you offered the Marvelous Mornings course as a freebie. I have enjoyed reading about your life and am inspired to do more creative things.
I think the thing I need most is self-control. It’s so easy for me to waste time and miss opportunities.
I have been following your blog for I would say at least 2 years. I have come across many good recipes and helpful organizational tips! During conversations with friends and family, many times I have recommended The Peaceful Mom website to them. Thank you for all your efforts in creating this blog for us to read!
As a mom, it is most challenging for me to have plenty of mental energy (if you know what I mean) to go around to all four of my children along with my husband and others. I am an introvert so plenty of quiet time helps, but there are days when I am unable to get the quiet I need to function properly. I am sure that when my kids are all in school, that will help tremendously, but getting through the summer sane would be great! So, what would help me most would be more alone time.
Thanks so much for recommending the website Sarah! 🙂
You are entirely welcome!
My biggest challenge as a mom and wife is keeping on a daily schedule to stay organized. I feel pulled into many different directions. I am glad to have recently discovered your blog!
Welcome Maureen! 🙂
