This week’s sale items included chicken leg quarters for 99 cents/pound. I sprinkle them with seasoning salt, coat them in BBQ sauce and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees — yum!
I also found good deals on watermelon, bell peppers, fresh spinach, celery and Fuji apples so you will see those items scattered throughout our menu.
Weekly Total: $126.35
July Monthly Total: $520.59
($500/month budget for six people so I am slightly over-budget for the month.)

Your budget is always very inspiring. I am feeding six people too, on too much money, but I can’t figure how to slim down! I am trying! We are eating burgers, southwest chicken wraps, veggie fried rice, homemade crunchwraps, and either BBQ Chicken Chili or Korean Beef for my son’s bday. 🙂
