I shopped only at Aldi and did not take photos of the groceries because I had a busy schedule again this week. Shopping at a discount store and planning a basic menu for the week helped me to stay on track with the budget.
I was super happy to find that blueberries were still on sale for 99 cents a pint so I stocked up again. One of our new summer faves is frozen blueberries with vanilla yogurt. Pour the yogurt onto the frozen berries, stir them slowly for about a minute and the yogurt will freeze to the berries for a fun, healthy treat.
Weekly Total: $125.95
July Monthly Total: $268.37
($125/week budget for six people so I am right on track this week — yay!)

Can I ask how much you spend on things like paper products, cleaning products, medical supplies, personal care items, etc.
Hi Emilie –
We spend an average of $50 – $75 a month on non-food items for our household. My 20 year old son buys his own personal products and we do not purchase very many paper products (just bath tissue, paper towels which we use rarely). Some months we spend less and some months we spend more if we are out of a lot of items. I also don’t spend very much on makeup. Hopefully that answers your question. 🙂
