Yes, after several weeks of being too busy to photograph the groceries I finally have some photos for you this week.
Aldi Produce
As usual Aldi had some fantastic deals on fresh produce.
Best Produce Deals:
pint blueberries $1.79
pint strawberries $1.49
bananas $.44/lb
pint grape tomatoes $1.29
pint fresh mushrooms $1.29
Aldi Meat, Dairy & Frozen Items
I purchased carne picada for our Fajita Bowls this week. These two packs made enough for two meals for our family.
Aldi Grocery Items
I love that I can get organic pasta sauce and diced tomatoes at Aldi and the prices aren’t bad either. The 24 ounce jar or pasta sauce is $1.79.
Publix Items
I stopped at Publix for a few items I could not get at Aldi. I normally would not buy chicken thighs unless they were on sale but I was really craving some Spicy Chicken Thighs (Sprinkle with Lawry’s Seasoning Salt and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.).
Weekly Total: $123.25
May Monthly Total: $512.29
(I am just slightly over my $500 budget for the month — woohoo!)
