I mentioned last week that I am currently working on my Christmas Gift List (print one here!) for this year to make sure that I don’t go over budget. One of my favorite ways to save money is to make my own gifts rather than purchasing items from a store, but I like for the gifts to not look cheap.
This year I will be using these easy DIY gift ideas:
This Cherry Chocolate Chip Bread is so scrumptious! If you can avoid eating it, it makes a great Christmas gift when included in a cute basket with a dish towel or some hot cocoa mix. (Click here for my DIY hot cocoa mix recipe.)
Make this super easy Trail Mix Bark for a relatively inexpensive gift that seems impressive. Package it in a cute tin or a craft paper decorated box as shown above.
These Candy Cane Bath Salts make a sweet gift for friends or family members who need to relax. Package them with a loofah and some soft spa slippers.
You can also use my DIY Gift Basket Tutorial to create stunning gift baskets for a fraction of what you would pay at the store.
