Aldi Produce, Refrigerated and Meat (not pictured: 1 gallon of milk , 3 dozen eggs)
I was very happy to find grapes for 99 cents a pound and the kids will be happy too because I don’t buy them unless they are less than $1/pound.
Best Produce Deals:
pint grape tomatoes $1.29 each
cucumbers $.55 each
seedless grapes $.99/lb
bananas $.44/lb
3 lb bag Clementines $4.29
Aldi Grocery Items
We didn’t need many pantry items this week.
Walmart Grocery Items
I forgot to pick up an essential toiletry item during my monthly trip to Walmart last week so while I was back this week I picked up boneless skinless chicken breasts for $1.99/lb and our favorite tortilla chips.
Publix Grocery Items
We couldn’t pass up Buy One Get One Free Udi’s Gluten Free Pizzas for my daughter at $3.50 each. The tuna was BOGO as well so we were able to get white albacore tuna for less than $1.00 per can. The Daisy Sour Cream (our favorite) was $2.00.
Weekly Total: $107.44
September Monthly Total: $232.79
($125/week budget for six people so I am well under-budget this week. My average is $116.40/week for the month so far.)

Ooh – thanks so much for making me aware of that Teresa!
I like shopping at Aldi’s but I wont buy their bread because it still has the “yoga mat” ingredient azodicarbonamide.
