I love lasagna but I hate the time it takes to prepare so I came up with this shortcut Sloppy Lasagna Bake recipe to save a little time.
16 ounce container ricotta cheese
1/2 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
3 cups browned ground beef
34 ounce jar of your favorite tomato-based pasta sauce
1 pound bag of egg noodles, cooked
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
In a large bowl mix together ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, salt and Italian seasoning.
Add browned ground beef and pasta sauce.
Stir to combine.
Add cooked noodles and mix to coat noodles.
Pour mixture in to 8.5″ x 11″ casserole dish.
Top with shredded mozzarella.
Cook for 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
Allow to cool for 5 minutes. Serve.
