    I loved “Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No good Very Bad Day”. I also loved the “Bobbsey Twins and Baby Mae” as it was one my grandma read it to me.

    Hi. I want to offer a very heartfelt thank you for sharing your experiences and especially the story about your son’s car purchase. It can be hard at times to stand strong and ignore the pulls and lures of instant-gratification and stand resolute in our goals. I also recognize that it is challenging to teach these concepts to children because like all important lessons they aren’t taught just once but continually and consistently! My favorite books as a young child were Santa Mouse (around Christmas), Be Nice to Spiders (even though I do NOT like spiders!), and the Frances books (Bread and Jam for Frances, etc.). When I was older I liked the Ramona Quimby books, anything by Judy Blume, and I was also a big fan of Nancy Drew and Laura Ingalls Wilder.
