One of my favorite parts of the New Year is the feeling that no matter what has happened in the past, we can start over.
My plan for this week includes lots of starting over. Exercise over the holidays? Non-existent. Eating junk food? Check.
So just like everyone else in January, I am re-committing to exercise (walking every day). I am also going to avoid eating sugar of any form (even the sugar included in condiments) for just one day. Pitiful, I know, but that is all that I can manage. If it goes well, I will try to add another day.
I am also re-focusing on managing my time better so I have scheduled my priorities into my calendar for this week to make sure that I accomplish everything that I want to accomplish.
By the way, if it bothers you that the quote on my journal page is not straight you should know that I do that on purpose to break my perfectionism.
No, not really.
It bugs me too, but I can’t do anything about it now. We will just have to learn to live with imperfection.
