$125 Budget Weekly Menu –See how I feed my family of six including 4 teens for $125 a week!
This past week Publix had some amazing sale prices including 16 ounce dried beans for 99 cents each, Classico Pasta Sauce for $2.00 per 24 ounce jar and 16 ounce bags of Kraft shredded cheese for $1.50 per bag. These were the lowest prices in our area for most of these items so I stocked up for future weeks.
My total spending for this week was $180.34, which is well over my $125 budget, but my total spending for December was $329.90, or just $109.96 per week and since that was well under my $500 budget for the month, I don’t mind spending a little extra this month if I have to.
*Items marked with an asterisk were purchased in previous weeks in the $125 Budget and are in the pantry, fridge or freezer.

Please Note: I post my weekly menu to encourage menu planning and to give meal ideas, not as a nutritional standard. You should feed your family based on your priorities and values. You may not be able to replicate this exact menu for $125 because sales vary by region and you will have different items on hand, but you can save money just by using a menu. 🙂)
