$125 Budget Weekly Menu –See how I feed my family of six including 3 teens and a twelve year old for $125 a week. This week we are eating some cheaper foods like potatoes and pasta, and using some of the ground beef I purchased on sale last week. My total spending for the week is $74.71.

Gluten Free Banana Pecan Muffins
Organic Yogurt with Crockpot Granola and banana slices
Cereal with milk x2
Egg and Cheese Bagel
Fried Eggs with Spinach, Black Bean and Corn Salsa
Oatmeal* with cinnamon and raisins*
LUNCH
Easy Cheese Quesadillas, green pepper slices
PBJ*, pretzels*
Cheese Nachos*, avocado slices, cherry tomatoes
Fresh Mozzarella, whole wheat crackers, raw carrots* and broccoli* with ranch dressing*
Hummus, tortilla chips*, cucumber slices
Turkey Sandwich, potato chips
DINNER
BBQ Pepper Jack Bacon Burgers*, Kettle Chips, Tomato Cucumber Salad
Easy Potato Soup (chicken broth previously purchased), cheesy biscuits
Slow Cooker Chili*, corn chips
Chili Cheese Fries (w/ leftover chili), Broccoli Slaw Salad
Italian Pasta Salad* with Chicken (olives and pasta previously purchased), garlic toast triangles
Taco Bowls (Beantastic Taco Meat*, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, sour cream and salsa* served on corn chips)

One way that we stretch our taco meat is by doing a lb of meat and a bag of lentils. Lentils are about $.69 a bag, so much cheaper than another pound of meat. I love the idea of adding refried beans into that. I’m seeing any leftovers as quesadillas for lunch!
