Get Organized! Simplify your life with a weekly plan.
Each Sunday night I make a plan for the upcoming week to make sure that I am focusing on what is truly important in my life, rather than just crossing tasks off my to do list.
Take a look at my plan and try creating your own!
I divide my plan into five categories:
PERSONAL- habits that keep me healthy and happy
PEOPLE– activities that promote relationship with the people I love
PURPOSE– tasks that enable me to fulfill my purpose in life
PASSION– activities and experiences which enable me to enjoy life
PROJECTS– priority tasks that need to be finished this week
You can see last week’s plan here. Again this week I was not able to accomplish as much as I had hoped because of everything going on in our life (you can read more here), but I did manage to exercise 3 out of 7 days, take my four children shopping for some school supplies, clean off two shelves and pack two boxes.
This week my focus is to chill out as much as possible. I’m planning a day-long date with my husband when we will just hang out without any agenda and enjoy each other’s company.
I am keeping the projects simple this week: lesson plans and packing at least two more boxes in preparation for our move. Hopefully with such a short list, I can get everything done!

I love your weekly plans and always think I should make one myself (although I haven’t made it past a small weekly list). I believe you deserve a chilled down week after everything that’s been going on with you lately. Enjoy your date with hubby and take time this week to rejuvenate a little.
Spending that time with your hubby will probably help immensely! I know when I get the rare opportunity to spend alone with mine I always feel soooo much better.
Yes Julia–time with the hubs is a good thing! 🙂
Thanks Rhonda!
