Get Organized! Simplify your life with a weekly plan.
Each Sunday night I make a plan for the upcoming week in my journal to make sure that I am focusing on what is truly important in my life, rather than just crossing tasks off my to do list.

I want to look back on my life and say that I lived it well, so I have to be intentional about how I spend my time. Planning my week enables me to accomplish tasks in line with my true priorities.
I divide my plan into five categories:
PERSONAL- habits that keep me healthy and happy
PEOPLE– activities that promote relationship with the people I love
PURPOSE– tasks that enable me to fulfill my purpose in life
PASSION– activities and experiences which enable me to enjoy life
PROJECTS– priority tasks that need to be finished this week

You can see last week’s plan here. I was not able to accomplish as much as I had hoped because we had some unexpected issues arise. I did exercise 4 out of 7 days, have a date with my husband, take my 12 year old on a date, visit my favorite botanical garden and work a little on my lesson plans. I did not work on my vision board, order books for homeschool this year or meet my friend for coffee (hopefully we can squeeze it in this week).
This week my focus is to just keep moving. While my progress may be slow, I will continue preparing for the new school year, and I will complete my monthly digital photo organization. Between family photos and photos for the blog, my picture folder gets full quickly and I need to take time this week to organize and back up all those photos!
