My Progress
Last week I set a goal to work on my hall closet.
Phase 1
I spent my first 10 minute session removing the tote bags from the top of the closet. I folded the ones that I wanted to keep and put them in another closet, used one to make a summer necessities bag, and put a couple in the giveaway box. I also removed an empty box from the top shelf (white box on top right of before photo) that I had been keeping for some unknown reason.
Phase 2
I spent my second and third 10 minute sessions cleaning out the “project’ box on the top left of the before photo, the items on the left of the second shelf and the blue and green tote bag on top of the green storage tote.
I ended up with five give away items (left side of photo), a bag of trash (right side of photo), a spa basket to give as a gift, a box to recycle and 4 containers of expired sunscreen and a mostly used tube of hand lotion to throw out. Yes, I had that much expired sunscreen.
So here is a photo of what the closet looks like now:
I still need to clean up the items on the left side of the storage boxes, but I am very happy with what I accomplished with 30 minutes of work total!
