Get Organized! Simplify your life with a weekly plan.
Each Sunday night I make a plan for the upcoming week to make sure that I am focusing on what is truly important in my life, rather than just crossing tasks off my to do list. This week’s plan is a little late because we were returning from an out of town wedding.
Take a peek at my plan to give you some ideas for making a plan of your own!
I divide my plan into five categories:
PERSONAL- habits that keep me healthy and happy
PEOPLE– activities that promote relationship with the people I love
PURPOSE– tasks that enable me to fulfill my purpose in life
PASSION– activities and experiences which enable me to enjoy life
PROJECTS– priority tasks that need to be finished this week
You can see last week’s Fun With Family and Friends plan here.
This week I am in full recovery mode after an unusually busy season of life. Now that we are about midway through the year and done with several big projects, we will be taking some time to reassess our financial goals for the next six months, as well as our family and business goals.
I plan on resting as much as possible this week as we are about to begin another busy season with two teens with jobs this summer!
PERSONAL– (habits that keep me healthy and happy)
- walk/run 4 times this week
- daily “Brain Dump”
- drink 6-8 glasses of water a day
- find online arm workout
PEOPLE– (activities that promote relationship with the people I love)
- date with my husband
- driving lesson with daughter
- write an email to a friend I haven’t spoken with in a while
PURPOSE– (tasks that enable me to fulfill my purpose in life)
- (wife) pray for my husband
- (mother) practice active listening
- (encourager) write daily, continue to work on business plan
PASSION– (activities and experiences which enable me to enjoy life)
- listen to worship music
- spend time in my favorite garden
- art journal
PROJECTS– (priority tasks that need to be finished this week)
- reassess financial goals for the rest of the year
- rest!
