10 Minutes A Day Decluttering Challenge: May Check-In
Are you joining us for the 10 Minutes A Day Decluttering Challenge? We are taking just ten minutes a day to remove clutter from one area of our homes.
Decluttering enables us to create comfortable energizing spaces in our homes, which enables us to simplify and live our true priorities rather than being drained by stacks and piles of stuff!
No matter how bad it is, you can make progress by focusing on one area and committing to spend just 10 minutes a day sorting items to throw away, give away and keep!

My Progress
Since the end of April I have traveled to Guatemala for a week, attended a week-long business conference, planned and executed a birthday and graduation party for my son, participated in the official graduation activities, and hosted friends and family from out of town. (Wow–Just writing that makes me tired!)
I did not declutter 10 minutes every day, but with the help of my children I was able to get rid of quite a bit of stuff around our house.
Much of what you see is clothing that the children have outgrown, but I also contributed clothing and household items which I dropped off at Good Will. With six people in our family, it’s amazing how quickly clutter can multiply if I do not make a concerted effort to get rid of items we are no longer using!
Did you make any progress this past month? Leave a comment so we can encourage each other!
(You can also leave a link to photos of your progress!)

As our 4th (and last) child is getting older, we’re getting rid of all the big baby items that take up so much space! Bouncy seat, rocker, bassinet, Jenny Jump Up, infant car seat, double stroller….
Dropped off a few boxes at goodwill. Have another box ready.
Also have all of the baby winter clothes in a basket and waiting to sell at the fall consignment 🙂
Good for you Jerilyn!
I took a couple really large bags to Savers and sent one large bag off to Thred Up. I still have more to go, but it’s getting better!
Great job Dianna!
We have had 2 neighborhood yardsales here in May so I have gotten rid of a bunch of stuff. WE then took a bunch of the leftovers to Goodwill. What an awesome feeling to just get it out of the house:) I still have a few areas to concentrate on, will get to when I can:)
Yardsales are great motivators! 🙂
