My Weekly Plan– Make a weekly plan so you can live your true priorities!
My favorite way to stay organized is to make a weekly plan to ensure that I am focusing on what is truly most important in my life, rather than just crossing tasks off my to do list.
After trying many types of planners, my current favorite is to hand write my plan in my journal.

I divide my plan into five categories:
PERSONAL- habits that keep me healthy and happy
PEOPLE– activities that promote relationship with the people I love
PURPOSE– tasks that enable me to fulfill my purpose in life
PASSION– activities and experiences which enable me to enjoy life
PROJECTS– priority tasks that need to be finished this week
You can see last week’s plan here. I am happy to report that after almost two weeks of being sick, I finally returned to my daily exercise routine. I feel so much better!
This week I am focusing on being more hospitable. At home I will be focusing on listening better to my husband and using encouraging words to my children. As a family, we will be hosting some long-time friends on Tuesday, and hosting some new friends on Friday.
I will also be spending 10 minutes a day organizing my digital photos. This is one area I really struggle to stay on top of.

Hi! I am new to your site and really appreciate your commitment to helping others be good stewards of God’s great blessings! We are also homeschoolers living on a limited income. I love your weekly organization ideas, but I have to ask, what is a “brain dump?” lol

Hi Kayla! I am so glad you are here.
Here’s the link to explain what a Brain Dump is: https://thepeacefulmom.com/2012/08/20/get-organized-do-a-brain-dump/. I usually post the link at the bottom of the weekly plan post or you can find it by putting “brain dump” in the search bar on the website. 🙂
