Unique Valentine’s: Chocolate Covered Pretzels
Valentine’s Day is one of my very favorite holidays. Chocolate, hearts, flowers…what’s not to love?
This year we are making Valentine Chocolate Covered Pretzels for the kids’ friends. They are super simple, but look cute when packaged in a plastic party favor bag, and your child’s Valentine will definitely stand out from the rest!
Materials
Pretzel Twists (depending on the size of your favor bags you will need around 10 per child)
White Chocolate Almond Bark
Wax Paper Lined Cookie Sheet
Valentine Themed Cake Decorating Sprinkles
Valentine Themed Favor Bags
Ribbon
Instructions
Melt almond bark according to package directions. An easy method is to use a 4 cup glass measuring cup in the microwave.
Stir melted chocolate and dip pretzels into chocolate. (You can do this individually or several at a time.)
Remove pretzels from chocolate using a fork and place them on the wax paper lined cookie sheet.
Quickly add sprinkles to the top of the pretzels before chocolate hardens.
Place the cookie sheet with the pretzels into the refrigerator for 1 hour to allow chocolate to harden.
Carefully place pretzels into favor bags, tie with ribbon and add a fun tag!
