Please Note: I post my weekly menu to encourage menu planning and to give meal ideas, not as a nutritional standard. You should feed your family based on your priorities and values. You may not be able to replicate this exact menu for $125 because sales vary by region and you will have different items on hand, but you can save money just by using a menu. 🙂)

Hi Kimberly!
one thing i hate doing is grocery shopping and trying to plan meals for the week. We are a family of four and my grocery budget is 150/per week. It’s very hard to stay in that range, but most weeks I can stay under. I love fresh fruits and veggies and that is the bulk of my bill. One thing that has helped me tremendously is getting my family involved. Each one of us gets to pick out one meal for the week. Anything they want. Before I go shopping, I ask them what meal they would like me to make this week. That takes so much stress off of me, and helps me stay in my budget so that I am not just buying for the sake of buying. I now buy with a purpose and it has helped so much! thanks for all of your wonderful ideas!! Love reading them
Lori
That’s a great idea to get your family involved Lori! Thanks for sharing. 🙂
