Life is busy and in the midst of all that busyness, it’s easy to find yourself at the end of a week (or month!) without having really accomplished anything*.
To ensure that I’m living life on purpose, I make a weekly plan. I started calling it my Just Keep Moving List to encourage myself that even though I may be slow, I’m making progress!
Here’s this week’s plan (and an update on last week’s!):
Last Week:
Run/Walk at least 25 minutes 3 days √ ( I ran 1 mile on 2 days, and walked one.)
This Week:
Run/Walk at least 25 minutes 3 days
Last Week:

This Week:

Driving practice with son
Confine blog work and writing to before 9 am, 1 hour at lunch and a couple of hours in the afternoon/evening
Each week I choose a project to work on ten minutes a day (read why here).
Last Week: Writing project. √
This Week: Blog project.
Last week:
drink 8 glasses of water daily (see my DIY drink reminder magnets here) 1/2 √
take cod liver oil capsules daily 1/2 √ (I remembered 3 out of 7 mornings.)
eat veggies every day √
This week:
drink 8 glasses of water daily
take cod liver oil capsules daily
eat veggies every day
eat nothing after 7:30 pm each night
Last Week:
Morning “brain dump” (read more here) and journaling first thing √ (5 out of 7 days)
Continue work on Life List X (I didn’t get much done on the list this week.)
This Week:
Morning “brain dump” and journaling first thing
Continue work on Life List
I use this Weekly Planner to help me get a view of the week at a glance. It makes a huge difference in my being able to focus on what’s important each day. (You can click here to see all of the FREE printable planners I have available.)
Even a little progress is moving in the right direction! 🙂
(*Just a Note: It’s good to remember that our value is not based in what we accomplish and depending on the season of life you are in, you may be doing well just to get enough sleep and get everyone fed for the day, so don’t be too hard on yourself. 🙂 )
Do you have some areas in which you want to accomplish more? Leave a comment about your plans for this week.

I just love your site and everything you blog about. It’s so real and uplifting! I noticed the past few weeks you have been working on a life list. Did I miss what this is or is it a secret?
Hi Amy- So glad that you like the site. As far as the life list, I intend to write about it but I am still working through it because I want to make it great–haha! I will try to do a preliminary post soon. 🙂
