$125 Budget Weekly Menu –After two years of $100 Budget Menus, we’ve increased the grocery budget to $125 a week for six people including three teens.
(Please Note: You may not be able to replicate this exact menu for $125 because sales are probably different in your area and you will have different items on hand, but you can save money just by using a menu. 🙂)

BREAKFAST
Homemade Waffles with DIY Waffle Syrup, sausage
Cereal with milk x2
Egg and Cheese English Muffin
Cheese Toast, orange slices
Scrambled eggs, biscuits
LUNCH
Peach Berry Smoothie, popcorn*
Turkey Sandwich, carrots and broccoli* with ranch dressing* x2
Homemade Pizza Bagels
Tuna Salad
Nachos, carrots* with ranch dressing
PBJ, tortilla chips, apple slices with cinnamon
DINNER
BBQ Pepper Jack Bacon Burgers, potato chips
Seasoned Chicken Thighs* (sprinkle chicken skin with Lawry’s Seasoning Salt and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour), steamed cauliflower with butter and salt
Hot Dogs, baked beans*
Rosemary Roasted Chicken, steamed green beans*, roasted potatoes with herbs
Oven Baked Tacos with Beantastic Taco Meat, Broccoli Slaw Salad* (broccoli slaw previously purchased)
Leftover Night
Dinner with Friends

It is so nice to see other people managing to have a varied diet on a budget. I hear people say all the time it can’t be done. I also get told you can’t lose weight on a budget, but I lost 98lbs that way and have written a lot about budget healthy eating.
I went to the farmers market this week and bought lots of squash, so I shall be making things with those this weekend.
