Just Keep Moving!
Life is busy and in the midst of all that busyness, it’s easy to end up at the end of a week (or month!) without having really accomplished anything. It is so true that if you aim at nothing, you will hit it every time.
To ensure that I’m living life on purpose, I make a weekly plan. I started calling it my Just Keep Moving List to encourage myself that even though I may be slow, I’m making progress!
For some reason I stopped using my Weekly Planner a few months ago and just started writing things on my calendar, but I have started using the Planner again and it makes a huge difference in my focus for each day. (You can click here to see all of the FREE printable planners I have available.)
Here’s this week’s plan (and an update on last week!):
Last Week:
Run 3 days √
Walk 1 day √
Run at least a mile without stopping on one of my runs √
(I actually ran 1.3 miles! Yeah!)
This Week: We are traveling to visit family and friends so my goal is to walk 3 days this week. I’ll hit the running again next week.
Last Week:
Date with hubby X (didn’t happen 🙁 )
Driving practice with DS. √
Date with 11 yo √ (We had a lovely time at a local garden.)
This Week:
Enjoy my extended family and time with my girls as we travel.
Each week I choose a project to work on ten minutes a day (read why here).
Last Week: trip preparation √
This Week: No projects this week except to relax. 🙂
Last week:
bedtime by 10 pm 1/2 √ (4 out of 7 nights)
drink 8 glasses of water daily (see my DIY drink reminder magnets here) √ (drank at least 7 most days)
This week: bedtime by 10 pm, drink 8 glasses of water daily
Last Week:
Morning prayer and reading 1st thing 1/2 √ (4 out of 7)
Do art journaling 2 days X
This Week: Morning prayer and reading 1st thing; listen to worship music as we are traveling
Do you have some areas in which you want to accomplish more? Leave a comment about your plans for this week.
Even a little progress is moving in the right direction! 🙂

I am also trying to get God time in the start of my day and have been struggling. Maybe if I write it down I will be more likely to act on it.
I also try to drink as much water as I can each day.
I am inspired by this. Infact so inspired I am going to go for my walk/run with my infant son and make our own plan. I love love love your blog! Keep it coming!
Good for you Niki. 🙂
