This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Quaker Oats. All opinions are 100% mine.
Have you tried the NEW Quaker Soft Baked Bars yet? I primarily write gluten free product reviews for The Peaceful Mom, but thanks to the Quaker Company, our family was able to try these new snack bars, so I thought I would share what I think with you.
Quaker Soft Baked Bars are made from fruit and nuts, and come in two flavors: Cinnamon Pecan Bread and Banana Nut Bread.
We tried both flavors and enjoyed them both, but Cinnamon Pecan Bread is definitely our favorite. Fortunately my husband read the directions on the box which suggest heating the bars before eating them. Toasting the bars briefly in a toaster or conventional oven, or microwaving them for 10 seconds really brings out the flavors.
I don’t usually eat snack products, so these were a little on the sweet side for me, but my husband really enjoyed them.
According to Quaker, these snack bars are a wholesome food and have:
• 140 calories
• 5g of Fiber
• 6g of Protein
• 5 B-Vitamins
Quaker Soft Baked Bars would make a tasty addition to eggs or yogurt for breakfast in the morning, or as a breakfast snack during your coffee break.
While these snack bars are great for grown-ups, they are also a kid-friendly alternative to granola bars. My non-gluten free children enjoyed them, but definitely preferred the Cinnamon Pecan Bread flavor.
If you like trying new products, or you’re tired of the same old granola bar, you might want to try Quaker Soft Baked Bars. If you do try them, let me know what you think.
