SAVE A LOT–Spent $39.29.
WALMART–Spent $89.07.
This was a “stock the pantry” week. It seems like we were out of every condiment, spice and staple I could think of and all at once! I normally wait for a sale to buy these items, but I haven’t seen them on sale lately and we were completely out, so I definitely broke the budget.
PUBLIX-–Spent $17.44 (sorry, no photo).

$81 slip over the month is only $20 a week if you break it down.
We ate out twice this week, that is what puts us over the budget!
Yes, the eating out will really do it! 🙂
I would do a week of ‘eating out of the pantry’ week…when we are about to go over budget, I will try VERY hard to only use what is in the freezer and pantry…it keeps us focused on our budget and really helps clear out some room for some good upcoming sales! AND I don’t have any money going out in groceries for an entire week! (maybe a few veggies….but growing them in the garden will help this summer on these kinds of weeks!!)
That’s a great idea Jennifer. Unfortunately for this week, the pantry is what I needed to refill–haha. 🙂
