Other than the rice works, what do you snack on? We like to have several snacks to choose from.
We like apples, oranges, frozen bananas or bananas with peanut butter, homemade juice pops, air popped popcorn, peanuts and raisins, trail mix. We have gone through a long phase without eating many snacks but the kids have started to want something in the afternoons lately.
How close are all the stores you go to every Friday? How long does your shopping trip take on average? And the big question… do you get to go by yourself or are you taking the kids with you?
All stores are within 3 miles of my home. Last week it took me a little over two hours and then I made a 15 minute run to Publix later in the week to pick up more of the Rice Works chips because we like them. I definitely shop without the children. If I had to shop with small children I would probably just use price matching at Walmart and call it a day. 🙂
I guess you drink tap water with most of your meals?
Yes we do. You can read more here: https://thepeacefulmom.com/2012/05/08/living-on-less-than-28000-a-year-drinking-problems-2/
