Thanks for the great advice. I love reading your blog, because you are honest. You try hard to follow the principles you set forth, but you also let us see the struggles. It’s not easy managing finances and some blogs make you feel stupid by how easy they make it sound. Reading your blog does not make me frustrated but encourages me. Thank you!

This is such a huge step in getting control of your finances. If you don’t know how much each month is going out in bills it is difficult to budget for other areas of your life.
I do this every month, and as our paychecks come in I know how much needs to go to bills and how much is left for other expenses and hopefully savings. We went from never saving any money and paying bills at the minumum amount to paying debt off quicker and saving for other expenses, just from this one step.
advice, I love reading the blog beause you share with us that you are not perfect….that you try hard to practice evrything
