Laura- I’d love to know where you buy a gallon of milk for $2.70. At Costco, it’s a bargain at $2.95/gal for skim. At Publix, it has gone back down to $3.59/gal. Prices are going up, up, up and I worry about those on super-tight budgets as ours is not quite as tight but is getting squeezed too.
New follower to your blog, love it! Can you share what you drink? I see one gallon of milk per week? We’re a similar sized famiy with $25/week more in the budget, and we go through five gallons a week. At $2.70/gal that is a substantial hit. Great job staying on target!
We pretty much just drink water–boring, right? 🙂
$2.70 a gallon! Be happy. The Walmart here in MS is $3.98 per gallon and we go through about 6 gallons per week. Ouch!
nice…I’m working on keeping track….your posts inspire me to remember! I think I’d like to spend less next month, but at least I know exactly what I have left to spend for this month!
