$100 Budget Weekly Menu (for six people including three teens!): One reason that I am able to stay home rather than work full time is that I try every week to stick to a grocery budget of $100, and the primary way I do that is by menu planning. This week Dad and the kids will be holding down the fort without mom for a few days, so we’ve got super easy meals planned.
Check back later today to see my grocery shopping for this week (and link up your savings!)

I would like to state to E that there are vegetables in her meals, also she states that from the get go, these aren’t completely balanced per food guide. When you’ve only got $100 a week for groceries you can’t have everything for a balanced meal.
Kimberlee, thank you for taking the time do share your meal plans. i’m always looking for more ways to stretch our less than meager budget. recently? $245 for 3 weeks of groceries, and this was planned around the food in the house and snacks for school. While i’ve only got one teen now, i’ve got a couple others hitting growth spurts, and a toddler that refuses to potty train..it was a really close one. Gonna be REALLY close saving what little money comes in to pay the rent, then come april is when it gets scary. but i’m trying to not think that far ahead if i don’t have too..
I’ll be browsing through more of your tips and meal plans thanks 🙂
You are very welcome! Just take one day at a time. 🙂
there arent any vegetables in any of your meals.. I would say its easy to cut corners and be cheap, having a nutritious
meal is the real challenge
what an amazing plan…i’m thinking of cutting back and going to a part time job…glad to know it can be done!
