Show and Tell Saturday: Show off your creativity!
I’ve been stretching myself to be more creative lately, so I thought I would show you what I’ve been up to and give you an opportunity to show off too!
I have been working most mornings on my art journal. I like the way this page turned out with the shades of blue and green. The page is wrinkled because I used watercolors and it’s not watercolor paper, but it adds character, right?
I also really liked this desk redo that Grace from And Such Is That! shared on last week’s Show and Tell Saturday:
What have you created this week?
Leave a comment or a link to your blog post with a new recipe you tried, furniture you painted, a poem you wrote, a scrapbook page you designed, a hat you crocheted–whatever you created…
Show and Tell!
I’m linking up at Fridays Unfolded!
I have celebrated my lil boy’s birthday this week with homemade (from scratch) sugar cookies cut in shapes of cars, trains, airplanes, and a few other cookie molds. In addition, I have cooked chocolate cupcakes from the Sneaky Chef and made blackbean brownies 🙂
Meals consisted of cooking a whole turkey, blueberry chicken, spiced carrots (a la slow cooker), made bisquick’s Italian pizza, steamed sweet potatoes and a few other choice meals.
Creatively, I cooked and baked.
Next week I hope to really make a dent in a homemade quilt that has been my thorn in my side for a super long time 🙂
Great job Jay! My mother-in-law quilts and I made a baby quilt many years ago, but I don’t have the patience for it.
