Oops! I made a mistake. 🙂
When I typed the Cherry Chocolate Chip Bread recipe (here) I typed 2 cups of mashed banana but it should be 2 medium bananas, mashed.
I’ve corrected the post and the printable recipe, but if you printed it yesterday you will want to re-print or make the correction to your copy.
My one year old says ‘yum’ so It will be deamed a success. Moist and flavorful. Bummed that my cherries didn’t retain more of a vodka taste. Great way to use them up though instead of throwing them out! Thanks for the recipe.
I have to agree–if the one year old likes it, it’s a total success! 🙂
Oh no!! I made these last night using 2 cups of bananas! It took almost an hour to cook but turned out good. Very moist. I also used cherries that had been marinating in Vodka for 5 months (left over from my ‘Cherry Bounce’ recipe) for Christmas gifts.
So sorry Joy! 🙁
It ‘s not a huge difference, but the bread will taste more like bananas and like you said, be very moist. Vodka marinated cherries sound dangerous–haha!. 🙂
