Love this idea for Fall: Take three apples and cut enough out of the top to fit a tea light in. Light the candles and enjoy!
*Of course, do not leave this display unattended. The tealights do get hot and you don’t want to have a baked apple catastrophe. 🙂
From Reader Sarah:
“This is one of my favorite quick Thanksgiving centerpieces. You can also use tiny pumpkins. To make sure the tealight fits in there snugly, turn the metal cup upside down and gently push down in the skin or use a knife to cut the circle. Then cut the sides as straight as possible. I have also used red tealights so it looks like the apple and orange ones in the pumpkins.”
