This week I was able to use Walmart’s price matching policy to get some great produce deals including 15 limes for $.97 which I used for decorative purposes. See our $100 Budget Weekly Menu here.

Thank you, I make a lot of Quiches and I usually do a few and freeze them. So good idea.
Fried eggs my fav! I suppose you could make lots of things with them.. pancake batches and freeze hhhhmmmm..
If deal is still available Monday.. you may have me converted! I am usually a free range kind of girl.. So sorry chickens, I will think of you.
I am also going to try the Hand soap you put up the other day. I do think your website is great. So thank you for all the work you put into it.
Thanks! Enjoy your eggs. 🙂
Glad I am not just being Snobby, may have to go in again and have another look, just to make sure! It is on the way to the shop I always shop at.
So what are you going to do with all those eggs?
We’ll make Veggie Breakfast Scramble and Quiche Muffins, use some in baking, scramble some, boil some for egg salad and fry some for breakfast. They last a while. 🙂
hi
I was just wondering about Save A Lot? I have one near me and to be honest I went inside and looked around and walked back out. IS it an OK shop? It looks a bit I dunno.. Maybe I am being a bit snobby.
Also what are you going to do with all those eggs? and wouldn’t Walmart match Save a Lot add?
Cheers love your blog.
Hi Belle! To be honest, there are some Save A Lot stores I would not shop in. Check the prices in your area, but in my area I find that milk, eggs, bread, some produce items, some canned goods and cereal are cheaper than any other store and it is very close to me so I run in for those items.
Walmart will match a Save A Lot ad but other than the produce none of those items are actually in their ad. Definitely do what works for you!
