What we’re eating this week on a $100/week budget for six people.
* items which were previously purchased (usually at the lowest sale prices) which are in the pantry, fridge or freezer
BREAKFASTS
French Toast
Organic yogurt, frozen strawberries*
Cereal*, organic milk x2
Scrambled eggs*, toast
Cantaloupe, cheese* toast
Bagels, cream cheese* (I will buy some this week, but we will use what I bought 2 weeks ago.)
LUNCH
Nachos
Cheese toast, canned fruit*
Tuna Salad (tuna*, pickles*, mayo*, crackers*
Turkey* sandwich, pickles*
Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, tortilla chips
Ham* and cream cheese* rollups, apple slices
Smoothie* and popcorn*
DINNER
Tossed Salad with Italian Chicken* (marinate chicken breast pieces in Italian dressing and saute), cantaloupe
Roast, mashed potatoes*, green beans
Pizza* (I did purchase more pizza this week, but this is from the freezer.)
Baked potatoes*, bacon*, broccoli*
Crockpot BBQ chicken*, rice*, broccoli*
Black Beans and rice
Dinner at Church
