We rarely take our family of six to the movies. Okay, we never take them to the movies.
$66 (the cost of the tickets alone!) is almost my entire grocery budget for the week, but our children really wanted to see Toy Story 3 at the theater.
I woke up this morning and felt that we should take them this afternoon. We would at least pay the matinee price.
Well, God had a better plan in mind. My husband had a free ticket (cinema reward card) that I didn’t know about, we had coupons for $7.00 tickets from the Entertainment Book and my mom just gave us a $25 gift yesterday. We ended up seeing the movie for $10.50 out of our pocket, which is less than the cost of one regular-priced ticket!
I love how God provides for us!
I earned 2 free tickets after I purchased Toy Story 1 & 2 for a killer deal @ Target for $5.00. So 3 of us show the movie for $6.00 and I earned a free drink using my Regal Rewards Card!!!
That’s great Kim!
$66 for the whole family! Wow, that’s insane! So glad you were able to go for $10.50 out of pocket. That’s great!! 🙂
Actually I made a miscalculation. It would only be $62.50-haha!
Kimberly,
It is also way cheaper to go to the drive in too. And its fun!
Good idea Cindy!
Too funny! We went to see this movie this past week too! Like you, we rarely get to take our family of five to movies. But I was able to earn four tickets through various offers. So it only cost us one child’s ticket. I felt very blessed that we were able to go to a movie as a family. Have a great week! 🙂
That’s great Alycia. We are blessed!
