If home office expenses are draining money from your budget, try these ideas:
Recycle-Reuse fliers and previously printed paper for printing that doesn’t require a pristine look.
Reset-Set your printer’s print settings to Draft to use less ink.
Refill-Refill ink cartridges at Office Max or Walgreen’s ($10 to $15). If you have an over abundance of used cartridges turn them in to Office Max for a $3 credit.
Restock-Stock up on office supplies during back-to-school sales. Keep an on going list of office needs and watch for sales.
Register– Sign up for rewards cards at Office Max and other stores you frequent. You can get discounts and money off future purchases.
Reuse– Office items can frequently be found on Craig’s list, thrift stores and yard sales. I actually bought my current computer and monitor at a yard sale for $60.
