What’s Cookin’ Wednesday-Easy Pasta Salad

I recently purchased several boxes of Mueller’s Tri-Color Rotini for $.31 each.   I will be using these to make our favorite pasta salad over the next couple of months.  Here is the recipe:

Easy Garden Pasta Salad

(2) 12 oz boxes Tri Color Rotini Pasta, cooked al dente

1 green or red bell pepper, chopped

1 medium onion, chopped

2 carrots, diced

1 cup Italian Salad Dressing

1-2 Tbs dried basil

Salt and pepper to taste

14 oz can pitted black olives, sliced

Combine the pasta and veggies except for the olives.  Stir to combine.  Add dressing and spices.  Stir to coat everything.  Add olives and stir just until combined.  Refrigerate for 1-2 hours before serving for best flavor.  Serves 6-8.
