Mark Down Magic– Buy marked down meat and produce. Meat and some produce can be frozen (ex: bananas for smoothies and grapes for snacks).

Soup from Scratch– Use leftovers together with fresh ingredients. You can find many, many cheap recipes on line at AllRecipes.
Endless Chicken– Buy 1 or 2 whole chickens (depending on your family size. Roast the chicken the first night; use in leftovers the next two nights.
Think Ahead– Pack sandwiches and snacks for nights you normally do fast food. Don’t forget the water bottles!
