Show and Tell Saturday: Show off your creativity!

Creativity breathes life into my soul! As I intentionally engage my creativity, I find that I am happier and more peaceful so each week I challenge myself to do at least one project– even if it’s something simple like art journaling or creating a new recipe.

Show & Tell Saturday is where I show off my creative explorations and give you a chance to link up yours too!

Please Note: Projects are featured here because I think they are creative, useful, beautiful or tasty. My inclusion of a link does not imply my endorsement of other content on the featured blog (because I haven’t read everything there :)).

Last Week

Jaime shared her recipe for Cranberry Orange Bread Recipe.

Maureen shows you an easy way to add a little style to a plain pair of boots.

Katy linked up her crochet hot mat pattern.

Heidi Lyn shows you how to crochet these adorable baby socks.

This Week

You can read my Mint Tin Keepsake Box tutorial here. I made this version for my daughter whose favorite colors are yellow and purple.

Here’s a peek at the inside.

The little packet of cards tied with ribbon are numbered 1 to 5 and have one thing I love about her written inside each of them. I also included a coupon for a lunch date and some other fun items.

What have you created this week?

Leave a comment or a link to your blog post with a new recipe you tried, furniture you painted, a poem you wrote, a scrapbook page you designed, a hat you crocheted–whatever you created…

(Please Note: If you are linking up and want to be featured in the next week’s Show & Tell Saturday, please make sure that you link a good quality photo that is at least 400 pixels wide. Thanks!)

I love that little keepsake box! I always give my kids 3 coupons for Valentine’s Day (ice cream w/ Mom, one day of no chores, and stay up 30 minutes late) and one of them told me it’s the best gift he gets all year. :) But this keepsake box would make it even more special. I will have to remember that for this year (guess I’d better get started!).

I am sharing my Homemade Granola Recipe this week. Hope you all enjoy it, I sure do. :)
