I’m not sure if you have the ingredients (like yeast), but these are super easy and very inexpensive if you have the ingredients onhand! http://www.lynnskitchenadventures.com/2009/03/40-minute-hamburger-bunsrolls.html
Thanks Colean!
I have a bread machine and make my own dinner rolls, pizza dough, and hamburger buns. I was out of buns and this recipe was so much quicker that I gave it a try. It is super-easy and less dense than the recipe I usually use. It was a hit. Thanks for sharing.
I really love your menus.
Thanks Amie.
Well, I used your menu as inspiration and made pulled BBQ chicken sandwiches, cole slaw, and chips for dinner. I just put 2 frozen chicken leg/thighs in the crock pot with 1/2 c. BBQ sauce and a little water, I used the link Colean posted and whipped up some buns, and made some cole slaw out of cabbage that I had on hand. It was an easy dinner and it made my family very happy. I love to use your menus and recipes and adapt to what I have on hand. Thanks!
I’m glad to know the buns turned out well. I didn’t have the courage to try yet–lol!
Looks tasty! I really like the quote in your organizer -( a few clicks away I know) ” A goal with out a plan is just a wish!”
Your grilled cheese sounds great!
Thanks Erin!
What a terrific menu you have this week – could I come eat at your house? he, he, he, seriously – you’ve given me some great ideas (like the bbq pork sliders w/ slaw) thanks for sharing!
Haha–thanks!
