Please Note: I post my weekly menu to encourage menu planning and to give meal ideas, not as a nutritional standard. You should feed your family based on your priorities and values. You may not be able to replicate this exact menu for $125 because sales vary by region and you will have different items on hand, but you can save money just by using a menu. :)

I looked at your BBQ chicken and black bean tostadas recipe… do you think I could cook a few chicken legs in a crockpot with bbq sauce and get the same effect if I take the bones out? The recipe looks so good, but I don’t buy boneless chicken and I only know how to cook a few things in my crockpot. Thanks! :)

Yes, I think that would work even better. The chicken breasts don’t have any fat so I have to add more sauce. I think chicken legs will be delicious. :)

I just wanted to pop in and say,I am truely enjoying your ebook…..Thank you for sharing…..I just started it last night and can relate to your coupon addiction….although my trouble is not coupons, its spending to much time online and blogs waiting for them to post the “NEXT GREAT DEAL” even when it is something we don’t need. Some how I feel if I dont jump on the deal I”ve missed out….Crazy waste of time.Sometimes its stuff I would of never considered buying.Like, this toaster oven here in the box,and many other things,I did get good toy deals for grand kids at Christmas, but over spent because”IT WAS ON SALE”…..Somehow you put what I am feeling into words, when I couldn’t put my finger on it…..Thank you! Blessing’s to you all in the New Year!

I am so glad Debbie–thanks for letting me know. I think a lot of people have the same problem. :)

Kimberlee, would you mind if I shared the photo of your meal planner and linked you back? I’m starting a new challenge of saving more money on my groceries, and I want my readers to know where I print my meal plan layouts from. Our goal is to go down to $50 per week for groceries (not counting our meats, I get 80 Lbs of chicken for $80 at a local market every 4 months) and I plan to chronicle our journey in this budget change.
